David a man after God's heart, this remarkable courageous man of faith, who started life as a Shepherd boy, musician and poet, then became a soldier a man of war, then an outlaw and finally a king. A man with a great trust in his God who sort to live his life in obedience to Gods word. Who wrote many Psalms to the praise of his God, for God’s people to sing. But since God had forbidden him to build Gods temple, David set in preparations for the building of the temple by his son Solomon. But David was not a perfect man, for only Christ live a perfect life. David like us he had feet of clay and falls into sin, failing his Lord. But when he repented God forgave him, but he still had to live with the consequences of his sins and this brought ruin into his family life in the later years. From David's life we can learn many lesson.
